Seasoned enterprise systems expert joins software development and system integration leader

Bingham Farms, Mich., January 30, 2012 – Pyramid Solutions, a leading software development and system integration firm, today announced that Thomas K. Clippard has joined the company’s sales team. Pyramid Solutions provides a broad spectrum of products and services to create customized solutions for companies in in financial services, insurance, manufacturing and assembly, industrial automation and vehicle systems.

Clippard joins the Intelligent Manufacturing Division, the Pyramid Solutions group that creates innovative industrial automation solutions for discrete manufacturing and assembly operations. In his new role, Clippard will partner with a wide range of businesses, helping them to create manufacturing execution systems (MES) that optimize their production and assembly environments.

Prior to joining Pyramid Solutions, Clippard served as an application sales manager at Oracle America where he was responsible for mid-market sales of Oracle applications including the Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards Enterprise One, Peoplesoft and Agile PLM.

Before that he served as an account executive for RCM Technologies, a QAD software solutions firm. At RCM Technologies, Clippard managed more than 70 QAD accounts while consistently exceeding sales goals.

Clippard also held positions with BDO Seidman, initially in their business and technology solutions area and later served as the firm’s supply chain practice leader.  In that capacity, Clippard developed business process improvement and business process re-engineering efforts for a range of clients. As practice leader, he also managed supply chain initiatives and strategic planning as well as budget and vendor relationship management.

Clippard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.

Pyramid Solutions is currently in the midst of an IntelliWORKS deployment with a key customer in Mexico. The team has worked many long hours throughout the summer months to complete the installation. You know how hot it has been here, imagine what it’s been like in Mexico!

While working onsite in Mexico, one of our customers noticed a skydiving screensaver on our project manager’s laptop. He then made an off the cuff comment that “I’m going to do that one day!”

A month later, the team from Mexico was here in the US for training.  As a team building exercise, our project manager took a team of 7 customers skydiving!
